Take 4 AA batteries from the charger inside the station and install them in the flash, following the +/– signs.
Attach the flash securely to the camera, lock it, and turn it on: hold the power button a few second until the red light appears (flash ready).

Angle: 45 degrees by default (adjust to 60 degrees for 1-2 people photos if you see too much light). Always look at the photo after you take it - taken photo displays on the screen for a few second after you take it.

For softer light, or if the flash reflector is broken or missing, use an external large reflector. In this case, pull out only the flash diffuser to soften the light, then position the large reflector as shown in the photo.

Remove the lens lid and store it in the drawer. Clean the lens with the magic fiber (from the small kit box in the drawer) if needed.
Turn on the camera. Check the battery level and replace it if necessary (use the spare battery from the station charger).
Format memory card
Make sure that AF (autofocus) and Stabilizer are on in lens.

Switch Camera Mode to Auto Mode (for bright environments with natural light).
