Your earnings are based on your hourly pay, sales commission, and tips. The most effective way to increase your income is to improve the key performance indicators below.
Your FSPH shows how many frames you sell during each hour of your shift. It is the main measurement of your overall sales performance.
To increase your FSPH, you need to improve the complete process: Approach → Take Photos → Create Separate Shots → Print → Present → Sell. Every part of this process matters. Improving only one step may not be enough. Strong photographers consistently apply all six Main Points throughout the entire shift.
Which of 6 Main Points Affecting this Metric: all 6 Main Points Together.
Where to find it: in your clock out (section Statistics).
Minimum Expected Value: 4-6 FSPH (4-6 frames sold per hour)
How does it affect your earnings: the more frames you sell, the higher commission and tips you make. Check Compensation Structure for more information.
Which of 6 Main Points Affecting this Metric: 1. Approach / 4. Time Management / 5. Positive Emotional State
Where to find it: Find the EGP on your clock-out card. This shows how many postcards you printed and, therefore, how many groups you photographed. Divide your EGP by the number of hours you worked. For example, if your EGP is 25 and you worked 5 hours: 25 ÷ 5 = 5 groups per hour. This means you photographed an average of 5 groups every hour.
Minimum Expected Value: 5-8 groups taken every hour.
How does it affect your earnings: the more qualified groups you photograph, the more opportunities you create to make sales.
Which of 6 Main Points Affecting this Metric: 2. Separate Shots & Quick Transition
Where to find it: Find the EGP and 4×6 numbers on your clock-out card. EGP shows how many groups you photographed, and 4×6 shows the total number of photos you printed, including the photo postcards. Calculate Photos per Group using this formula: (4×6 − EGP) ÷ EGP. For example, if your EGP is 20 and your 4×6 is 100: (100 − 20) ÷ 20 = 4 photos per group.
Minimum Expected Value: 5-6 photos per group.
How does it affect your earnings: The complimentary group photo starts the interaction, but separate shots create additional products that guests may want to purchase. Each separate shot should offer something meaningfully different. Avoid taking several nearly identical photos.
Which of 6 Main Points Affecting this Metric: 2. Diversity in Separate Shots / 3. Photo Quality / 6. Selling
Where to find it: in your clock out (section Statistics).
Minimum Expected Value: 20%-30%.
How does it affect your earnings: Your conversion rate shows the percentage of printed optional photos that guests purchase. Taking more photos does not automatically lead to more sales. The optional photos must be diverse, high-quality, and presented effectively.
