Congratulations! We are pleased to further consider you for the Restaurant Sales Photographer position in Atlanta! We’re excited to invite you to our in-person pre-employment training session.
Before scheduling the training, please review all the materials below and follow each of the steps mentioned.
Please ensure you strictly follow the dress code below, as failure to do so will result in training cancellation:
Solid black button-up shirt (no logos, prints, or stripes; long or short-sleeved)
Black dress pants (no logos, prints, stripes, or patch pockets; full-length)
Black no-slip shoes (black laces, no colorful logos or prints)
Black socks (no logos, colorful stripes, or prints)
Note: Training will be canceled if you do not adhere to the dress code.
Before scheduling the training, you must complete a few steps:
Please ensure you have memorized the following phrase: “Hello, guys! Welcome to our restaurant! We give one free photo postcard and offer optional photos to all our guests today! So, let’s take a quick photo! Please sit closer and smile”. Please note that this phrase will be checked at the beginning of your training. If you cannot repeat it confidently and exactly as written, or if you alter any part of it, your training will be postponed until you have learned the phrase or rescheduled for another day.
It is also crucial to learn the basic poses and phrases we use to guide people and Composition Guide for Portraits. Please learn:
If a group rejects you, politely accept it by saying, “Thank you, no worries! If you change your mind, just let me know — I’ll be around.” This keeps the interaction positive and leaves the door open. If they later see another group having fun during their photo session, they may ask you to come back. Keep the connection friendly, even after an initial rejection — some guests do come back later.
Please review all the materials, complete the test. A minimum of 20 points is required to proceed. You may retake the test as many times as needed.
Once you’ve reviewed all materials and completed the test, please notify the Regional Manager (Anton) via text message or WhatsApp at +1 (404) 721-3001. After we confirm your results, we’ll share available training slots and schedule your session for a convenient day and time.
Training duration: 4 hours. Please ensure you strictly follow the uniform requirements, as failure to do so will result in training cancellation. If you are unable to attend the training, please inform us in advance.
By attending the training, you acknowledge the following:
This training is not covered by the FLSA and is non-compensable unless you complete 160 hours of your shifts after training. Once you reach 160 hours, the training time will be paid at the base hourly rate ($12/hour in Atlanta). If you quit before completing 160 hours, the training hours will not be paid. However, once you begin working your own shifts after training, you’ll start getting paid right away according to Compensation Structure.
Training is similar to vocational training and can be useful for other positions.
Training is conducted in your best interest, under close supervision, and does not replace full-time employees.
Training may not provide direct benefit to Deluxe Photo and may sometimes complicate workflow.
Completing training does not guarantee employment.
Training duration is typically 4 hours.
The Pre-Employment Training is a one-day, 4-hour session. If you successfully complete it, we’ll send you a job offer and guide you through the onboarding steps that must be completed before scheduling your own shifts.
Once you begin working your own shifts after training, you’ll start getting paid right away according to the Atlanta Compensation Structure—hourly pay every two weeks via direct deposit (payday on Friday every other week), plus commission and tips from cash sales at the end of each shift.
