Follow the checklist below to complete your onboarding process. Each step is crucial to your success as a sales photographer. Send the required confirmations (screenshots or messages) in your work chat for each of the steps.

✅ 1. Sling App📋

• Sign up using the Sling: Employee Scheduling App link sent to your email by Deluxe Photo.

• Download the app on your phone: https://getsling.com

• Open the app and go to Shifts → My Schedule.

• 📸 Send a screenshot of your “My Schedule” page in the chat to confirm this step.
  
  

✅ 2. Square Point of Sale App🛍️

• Use the Square invitation link sent by email. Do not create a personal account.

• Download the correct app: https://squareup.com/us/en/app

• ⚠️ Download the Square Point of Sale App, not the Square Team App.

• Open the Square Point of Sale, go to Checkout - Library - Items, take a screenshot, and send it to confirm completion.
  
  

✅ 3. Review Financial Agreements 💳

• Read both: Financial Responsibility Agreement and Digital Photo Delivery Agreement 

• Review Compensation Structure (how much you can earn as a Sales Photographer)

• These agreements appear each time you clock in. Misunderstanding them can lead to fees.

✅ 4. Photo Poses Guide 📸

• Review the required guest poses

• These poses are essential for better sales and commissions. Feel free to add your own, but the listed ones are mandatory.

✅ 5. Clock In/Out + Equipment Setup ⚙️

• Learn the basics:

  • Clocking In

  • Clocking Out

  • Camera & Flash Setup

  • Media Set Replacement in Printer

  • Printing Tips & Workflow

• 📝 Send a message saying “I have reviewed and understood Clock In/Out procedures + Equipment Setup”.
  
  

✅ 6. Deluxe Photo Quiz 📝

• Review all materials: Onboarding Resources

• Take the quiz: Onboarding Quiz

• 💯 Score 43/43—you can retake it until you pass, but you have to get 43 out of 43 to complete this step.

• 📸 Send a screenshot of your perfect score to confirm completion.
  
  

✅ 7. Monthly Availability 📅

• Submit your availability for July: https://forms.gle/UBjfnUhSEef7fKp97

• 📌 Once scheduled, you must work your assigned shifts.

• 📝 Send a message saying “Availability provided”.
  
  

✅ 8. Timestamp App 🕒

• Install the Timestamp Camera App to verify when and where photos were taken.

✅ 9. ADP Workforce Account  (For Payroll)💼

• You’ll receive an email invite for payroll via ADP  within a few days.

• ⚠️ Complete the ADP setup on a laptop or computer, not through the mobile app.

• After uploading your ID, your status will show “Pending for approval”—that’s normal.

• 📸 Send a screenshot showing the pending status to confirm this step.
  
  

🎯 Final Step: Practice Shift Scheduling

Once Steps 1–9 are completed, you’ll be invited to a 4-hour practice shift.  You’ll work alongside an experienced photographer, but you’re expected to handle everything yourself: ✅ Approaching guests, ✅ Taking photos, ✅ Printing, ✅ Making sales

📌 This is your final step before starting independent shifts. Practice shift pay will be paid together with your first paycheck once you start working your own shifts (around 2 weeks after a first shift - our payday is Friday): $12/hour (no commission earned on practice shift).
