β
How well you use your time on the floor
β
How your sales compare to your wage and expenses
β
Whether your shift is profitable for both you and the company

π How Sales Performance Is Calculated
At the end of your shift, your performance is calculated based on:
π° Total sales
π Hours worked
π΅ Hourly wage + your commission
π¦ Company expenses
We check how much revenue you brought in, how much it cost to run your shift, and what percentage of sales went to your pay and expenses.
π This result is printed as βSales Performanceβ β always review it before you leave!
π‘ Why Itβs Important:
Ensures fairness across everyone π₯
Shows if your shift was profitable π
Helps managers know when you need support π€
Guides scheduling and training decisions ποΈ
π¨ Performance Color Zones & Consequences
Your result is shown in a color zone. Each color tells you where you stand π
π’ Green Zone β 30% or below (means your salary is within 30% of total sales you made)
β Excellent! Youβre within target.
π₯ Keep doing what works and share your strategies!
π‘ Yellow Zone β 31β50% (means your salary is within 31-50% of total sales you made)
β οΈ Borderline. Okay occasionally, but improve consistency.
π¬ Ask for tips and focus on raising frames sold per hour.
π΄ Red Zone β 51β90% (means your salary is within 51-90% of total sales you made)
π¨ Warning! The company is losing money on your shift.
π Talk to your manager, work on approach & closing.
πΆ New photographers: consistent red = risk of termination.
π€ Experienced: monthly red = performance review.
π©Έ Burgundy Zone β Above 90% (means your salary is above 90% of total sales you made)
β Critical! Salary exceeds 90% of sales β serious loss.
π· New: removed from shifts until retraining.
π Experienced: two in one week β temporary suspension.
πͺ Even in slow spots, aim for $100β200 minimum per shift.
π― After every shift:
π’ Maintain if green
π‘ Adjust if yellow
π΄ Take action if red/burgundy
π― Average Sales Goals & Frame Targets
πͺ To stay strong, aim for these minimums:
π
MonβThu: 4 frames/hour
π₯ FriβSat: 6 frames/hour
π Busy restaurants: 10β50 frames/hour possible!
π° Example 4-Hour Shift:
MonβThu β 4Γ4Γ$15 = $240 minimum goal
FriβSat β 4Γ6Γ$15 = $360 minimum goal
π If youβre far below without a clear reason, your color will drop.
π Think Smart:
Know your target before clock-in β°
Check progress mid-shift π
Improve by:
π¬ More approaches
π€³ Group + separate shots
πΈ Clear offer explanation
π€ Confident closing
π‘οΈ Protecting Performance on Slow Days
Sometimes itβs not your fault! π
π½οΈ Empty restaurant, β bad weather, ποΈ event traffic β it happens! π§Ύ To make sure itβs fair, you must document it:
πΉ When Slow:
1οΈβ£ Send video updates every 30 min to your work chat.
2οΈβ£ Show guest flow or empty areas.
3οΈβ£ Keep updating until traffic improves.
This helps managers see whatβs happening π and keep things fair.
π« Donβt:
Stay silent πΆ
Wait till end of shift to explain π
Stand still without engaging customers
β Do:
Communicate π¬
Show proof π§Ύ
Stay proactive πͺ
